Play Every Day Scholarship Program

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Play Every Day Scholarship Program (“Scholarship Program”) administered by Play Every Day (ABN 41 142 457 236) (“Play Every Day”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By submitting an application for, accepting, or participating in the Scholarship Program, applicants and recipients (“Recipients”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scholarship Overview

Play Every Day offers two categories of scholarships to support access to drama and theatre classes for families experiencing financial hardship.

1.1 Fully Funded Scholarship

  • One (1) scholarship available per year.

  • Covers 100% of class tuition fees for a period of one (1) year.

  • Available only to applicants who hold a current Low Income Health Care Card at the time of application.

1.2 Partly Funded Scholarships

  • Provides a $50 reduction per term on class fees.

  • Available to families with a gross household income under $65,000 per annum.

  • Multiple scholarships may be awarded, subject to available funding.

  • Partly Funded Scholarships will cease once allocated funds are exhausted.

2. Eligibility and Application

2.1 Applicants must complete the Scholarship application process in full and provide accurate, truthful, and complete information.

2.2 Play Every Day reserves the right to request supporting documentation at any stage of the application or scholarship period, including but not limited to:

  • Proof of income;

  • Proof of Low Income Health Care Card status;

  • Any additional information required to assess eligibility.

2.3 Submission of an application does not guarantee the award of a Scholarship. All decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Play Every Day.

3. Nature of the Scholarship

3.1 Scholarships provide tuition support only and are not transferable.

3.2 Scholarships are not redeemable for cash, credit, refunds, goods, or services of any kind.

3.3 Scholarships may only be used for the specific Play Every Day classes for which they are awarded.

4. Recipient Obligations

Recipients of a Scholarship must comply with all of the following obligations:

4.1 Attendance

Recipients must attend a minimum of 85% of scheduled classes per term while receiving scholarship support, unless otherwise approved in writing by Play Every Day.

4.2 Participation and Conduct

Recipients are expected to:

  • Participate in classes in a willing, respectful, and positive manner;

  • Comply at all times with the Play Every Day Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and behavioural expectations;

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

4.3 Acknowledgement of Support

Recipients must submit by request

  • A short thank-you video,

  • A written thank-you letter
    addressed to the patrons or supporters who funded the Scholarship, within the timeframe specified by Play Every Day.

  • Successful applicants must agree to a photo social media post acknowledging the scholarship

5. Termination or Withdrawal of Scholarship

Play Every Day reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Scholarship at any time, with immediate effect, if the Recipient:

a) Fails to meet the 85% attendance requirement in any term;
b) Breaches the Play Every Day Code of Conduct or any Play Every Day policies, including but not limited to behavioural, safety, or inclusion policies;
c) Fails to demonstrate a willing and positive contribution to classes;
d) Fails to submit the required thank-you video or letter within the required timeframe;
e) Provides false, misleading, or incomplete information at any stage of the application or scholarship period;
f) For a Fully Funded Scholarship, does not hold a valid Low Income Health Care Card at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested at any time and must be provided upon request.

Upon termination, tuition support will immediately cease. Any unused portion of the Scholarship will be forfeited and may be reallocated to another eligible applicant. No refunds or compensation will be provided.

6. Review and Changes

6.1 Play Every Day reserves the right to review scholarship eligibility and compliance at any time.

6.2 Play Every Day may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to current Scholarship Recipients where reasonably practicable.

7. Privacy

All personal information collected as part of the Scholarship Program will be handled in accordance with Play Every Day’s Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
